THE BLOODS
Street Gang

The Bloods originated in Compton California ,and were known as the "Piru Gang." They hung out with the Crips prior to 1972. After that they became rivals. Later in 1972 a conflict arose between the Bloods and the Crips. The "Pirus Gang" were out numbered, and the Crips took advantage. The Pirus wanted to end it peacefully with the Crips so they turned to the Lueders Park Hustlers for back-up. They agreed and a meeting was called on Piru Street.
